Reactrix Reels In $45 Million In New Funding

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- Reactrix Systems, Inc. announced the closing of its series D round of financing, securing $45 million in new investment from several investors.

The company sells an interactive medium that responds to people walking past or near the surface it rests on.

Investors in the round were led by D.E. Shaw group and Menlo Ventures, and included Mobius Venture Capital, Thomas Weisel Venture Partners and Worldview Technology Partners.  The company intends to use the proceeds for further expansion nationally and internationally and additional product development.
